What a great way to celebrate the quarter, our community, and of course, Jesus.
We’ll start up at 7, so don’t be late!
Oh yeah, the whole family is invited so bring Mom and Dad too!
Open mic night after the Friday SloCrusade weekly meeting, to celebrate the opening of the new Swanson Center at Front Porch! Come hear some great talent and see the NEW location! If you would like to perform, please go to the Front Porch coffee shop located at 1468 East Foothill Blvd. to sign up and reserve your spot.
We’re no longer at Old Pacheco, so head to Front Porch because the Swanson Center is upstairs! (No parking in the Casa Veranda parking lot, street parking and meters available)
Cal Poly Students & Christian professors praying together in UU 219 from 12noon-1pm.
Stop by and join us as we take time during Campus Crusade’s Worldwide Day of Prayer to pray for each other, for other students, for our professors, and for God to work in and through us at Cal Poly.
The Swanson Center is a study center where the integration of faith and academia are explored by virtue of a collection of books and other resources. It is also a place to study, read, research, relax and experience community.
We are almost ready to re-open in our NEW location above Front Porch’s coffee shop in the Casa Veranda housing development’s living/learning center. (Front Porch serves FREE coffee when they’re open! Sweet!). Our location is 1468 East Foothill Blvd, SLO, CA, 93405. It’s right behind the Health Center, across the walkway from the Newman Center, and up the stairs from Front Porch. There is NO parking in the lot, but there are meters behind the Health Center, and occasionally there is street parking available.
In order to open up, we need people to join Team Library and sign up for shifts at the Swanson Center. We’ll have a training meeting NEXT Tuesday at 11am at the Swanson Center. You will have to attend this training meeting, or set up a make up training time, in order to be an official Swanson Center librarian. You don’t need to love books to be on Team Library, just a willing attitude and commitment to shifts you sign up for!
We’ll also be planning a grand re-opening event TBA at our meeting.
For MORE information, join our facebook group: SloCrusade’s Team Library. Feel free to email us at TeamLibraryCCC@gmail.com!
Find roommates and open housing at the slocrusade.com housing board! A great place to find other students who love Jesus and are looking for roommates.
Well…….in case you don’t…. here they are! Look for signs along the way!
